The most useful thing you can send us is a figure you think is wrong. If a calculator here disagrees with the sack in your hand or the quote from your supplier, we want to know which one and what it said.

Requests for calculators we do not have yet are welcome. So are corrections to the explainer text — several of the trade details on this site would be better for a second opinion from someone who does the work daily.

We cannot advise on structural questions, and we will not try. If your question is about whether something will carry a load or meet code, that is one for an engineer or your local building department.
